North Face Mod Bag

While at REI, bf Jon spied this cool messenger bag by The Noth Face. It's all pinstripe business on the outside, but becomes a mod, mod, mod world inside.

I tried to find it on the company's site, but no luck. It was also not on the REI site. So, try a retail store if you want one.
Fun!

UPDATE: Bag has been found on the North  Face site for $139 (thanks, Jack!) and at eBags for $99 (Thanks, Nikki!).

Paper Replika Does it Again

Just when you finished the dozens of hours needed to print, cut-out and assemble the Paper-Replika Vespa 150, now they release a girl rider for the scoot! Prepare for more nights or whittling away in your dark workroom. Send photos of your handiwork when you're done (if your fingers can work a camera after all that detail work!)

Mods vs. Rockers bag

Found this bag on etsy.
Hand sewn bag with original embroidery design. Size approx. 9x12 inches with long shoulder strap, four extra pockets. Strap bag and pockets have colored thread detail to match embroidery design.

Looks fun and original.

When in Birstall, get your hair cut

Saw this story on line about a scooter-loving mod who has opened up a mod/scooter themed hair salon. According to the salon owner, "My inspiration came from being one of the founding members of the Spen Valley Saints, which has given me the reputation of being a mod hair specialist."

So if you find yourself in Birstall, in the Leicestershire area of England, pop in for a mod do.

Another Fab bit 'O Flair....

I've made another Flair button for Facebook. It is one of the actual buttons that you can buy from the Scoot! Magazine webstore. Add it to your profile and represent!
