Ride to Work on Wednesday

Don't forget, this Wednesday is Ride to Work Day. Drop me a line and let me know if you are a first-time participant and how it went. I'll be putting through the streets of San Jose that day spreading the word with my cool Scoot! License Plate Frame:

Cick the picture to see how you can get one for yourself and friends.

April, your license plate frame just doesn't do my Bajaj justice! It averages between 90 and 100 mpg!

It makes a lot of sense if the weather is good and you don't have to wear a suit for work!

However, the dangers are out there in the form of unconsiderate vehicle owners, buses and other four or more wheeled behemoths!

Take and read the MSF course and ride safely.

I do ride to work in my Vespa ET4, albeit, only on Saturdays and some Sundays...have yet to attain the nerve for riding in the workweek!

I once commuted to work with a suit in tow on my P200 rear rack. When I got there I changed into my suit. It really depends upon how committed & clever you are. Where there's a will, there's a way. Still, some days it really seems like a big hassle, doesn't it? Especially when it is 100 degrees and my full-face helmet is becoming a sweat-sponge. Thank heavens for my scorpion helmet's interchangable helmet liners!
