Environmentalist Tzeporah Berman will be celebrating her 41st birthday today by carrying the Olympic Flame...riding a blue electric-powered scooter in Squamish, with the torch attached to the handlebar with a metal clamp for safety.It's admirable that someone wants to use a scooter to emphasize environmental alternatives, but I wonder how all those folks who run their part of their route will feel?
